Tulsa’s response to starving children
Tulsa H.O.P.E. 2011 is days away and we are looking forward to working together to pack 150,000 meals. We will have a large group of TU and Union High School football players helping us on Saturday afternoon. Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Union Nation Honor Society members, ORU students, small groups, families, friends, young, and old will all be working together. Many different churches will be represented this weekend.
We are already planning for our meal packing event on April 27 - 28, 2012. It's our hope that every church in the Tulsa area will be represented in 2012 so that we can pack at least 1 million meals.
Please help us spread the word. Come and check out the event on Friday or Saturday to see if you and your church want to be involved next year.
Tulsa HOPE 2011
Thank you Tulsa. We packed 162,000 meals for starving children last weekend! This is enough to feed 444 kids in Nicaragua for one year. Everyone’s incredible generosity is greatly appreciated. We are starting now to plan for next year’s event. It is scheduled for April 27-28, 2012. We hope to have four host sites all with a goal of packing 250,000 meals each. Can you help us make this vision a reality? Call Mike at 918-694-6453 if you have any ideas.
